General Rules

Safety

• Safety is the responsibility of the team coach and team sponsoring origination (school, church, home-school, scout group, etc…)
• No STEM OK volunteer will be alone with any student.

Behavior

• All participants (Adults and Students) are expected to behave professionally.
• Any rude, aggressive or inappropriate behavior may cause the individual to be evicted from the competition

Legal Responsibility

• This event is provided to schools free of charge and run only by volunteers. No volunteers will be legally held liable for the outcome of the competition.

Robot Construction

• You may only use parts and quantities listed on the kit list.
• You may never damage the game field or game pieces
• Maxim dimensions of the robot at the start of each match is 500 x 500 x 500 mm
• Maximum dimensions of the robot after the match starts is unlimited.

Scoring

• All scoring elements are finalized when the teams leaves the game field.
  • Any concerns with scored elements should be address before the team leaves the field.
• The score for a match is finalized 10 minutes after it is posted.
  • If there is an error in the score it needs to be addressed with in 10 minutes of being posted.
